Just a quick note to say we made it to KL, caught our flight and are now in Bali!!!!
We spent our night in KL in an actual hotel, with a hot shower and our own beds! We even splurged and went for the room service :) With all of this, it was still only $40 each...not too shabby!
Our flight to Bali went well and we caught a cab to our hostel in Ubud...which is incredible!
On the way here we drove by rice paddies and through several towns were we could see the local architecture. It is INCREDIBLE! We'll post some pictures as soon as we get a stronger internet connection!
Last night we went to see the traditional Balinese dancing...we were in awwww...and to think Carrie and I thought we were awesome with all our POMS moves...hehehe :)
Today we are planning some time at a local spa...a full 6 hours is less than $30 and that includes an hour massage and all sorts of other things. We'll see what we decide, and we are really looking forward to it all!
We will also head out for some more shopping at the local market, we need to work on our bargaining skills!
