We visited Mini Malaysia in Melacca and we saw the traditional homes for each state of Malaysia. It was very interesting! We first saw a traditional dance and you know Sam and I... somehow we ended up on stage dancing with the traditional dancers! It was a blast!We then got to visit each house and go into them to see how each state would have traditionally lived! Kurnia (our prof) even said that her grandmother still had a thatched roof and part of the old house still standing!
We are really looking forward to Penang where we will get to stay in a traditional fishing village with home hosts... we can't wait to see what kind of house we will be staying in! Some even had bamboo floors! SOOOO exciting!
