and it's back to work for these two travellers :(
Carrie and I had SO much fun this weekend...it was great to catch up and spend some time exploring more of the Malaysian countryside! It had only been a few days since we had last seen each other, but it felt like weeks! I suppose we should just look at it like a warm-up for the upcoming months...Michigan and Maryland aren't that close to one another!
Anyway, the weekend got off to a rocky start...it was Carrie's turn to take ME to the clinic :( I had some sort of infection, so I needed antibiotics and cough syrup and all sorts of other meds...hey, 6 perscriptions and a few days later and I'm practically as good as new!
The bus trip was something to write home about...I dont think either of us has ever turned green from car-sickness before! The roads were super narrow and twisty, so it was really a long ride!
We stayed in a really nice apartment while in Cameron Highlands, visited the tea plantations, the strawberry fields, night markets and even an agricultural research center where we learned how tea is processed...how lucky are we?!
Anyway, everything is going well on this side of the world...check out our pics and we'll see you all soon....less than 3 weeks now :(
