No, we’re not just talking about us…we mean our trip to Perhentian Besar!
-Bus from Jerantut to Perhentian Jetti: 7 hours, MR35, and 10 people crammed into a minibus
-Boat from mainland to Perhentian Islands: 25 minutes, MR70 and rocky boat ride across South China Sea
-Checking in to a private chalet 30 steps off a white sandy beach…PRICELESS!
This is the perfect vacation spot! Carrie and I had the following conversation over dinner last night (on the beach, watching the sun set over the mountains):
Me: “This is an awesome vacation. Just what we needed to relax…”
Carrie (in her sarcastic tone): “Yep…because we don’t have jobs and haven’t actually worked a single day yet…”
We’re spoiled rotten and so fortunate to be experiencing all of this…
