So, after a week on vacation we decided it’s time to get some laundry done. We’re preparing for some serious time on the beach and let’s face it…we need clean shorts and tank tops if we’re going to really get tan…
After checking into our hotel we decide to ask at the reception about any laundry services available. They tell us it’s MR9 per kilo. We ask if they have a laundry basket for us to fill up, and the man at the counter hands us a dinky little basket. Carrie and I look at each other and are like… “Um…sure all our clothes will fit in here. He’s CRAZY!”
Flash forward 10 minutes to when we walk back up to the reception desk with the basket crammed full of all our clothes…
The man just looks at us and starts laughing…. “5 KILOS!”
Carrie and I are like, “Yes, yes probably!”
He then tells us to come back the next day to collect our clean clothes.
The following day when we go to pick up our clothes….
The man says to us as we are grabbing our 3 HUGE bags of clean clothes (with a HUGE smirk on his face and a chuckle afterwards)… “DKNY”
Carrie replies: “Yep!”
As we’re walking back she says to me… “Yea, I don’t even know what that means…DKNY?”
“Um…I believe it’s a clothing brand. I don’t own any DKNY clothes…do you?”
Carrie: “um…I don’t know…”
We get back to the room, open the bags and sitting neatly folded on top of all our clean clothes is…Carrie’s DKNY undies!
Seriously the funniest thing I have ever experienced in my ENTIRE life! We laughed so hard and were just a little creeped out…
